How do I add a new case? Tap the “+” button in the Cases tab, fill in the case details including case number, title, and case type, then tap “Create”. Your case will be immediately available in your case list.

How do notifications work? When you add a hearing or deadline, the app automatically schedules notifications based on the priority level:

Critical: 1 week, 2 days, 1 day, and 2 hours before High: 2 days, 1 day, and 2 hours before Medium: 1 day and 2 hours before Low: 1 day before

Make sure to enable notifications in Settings → Notifications → Lawyer

What’s included in the free version? The free version includes:

How do I cancel my subscription? Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID:

Open the Settings app on your device Tap your name at the top Tap “Subscriptions” Select “Lawyer” and tap “Cancel Subscription”

You’ll retain access until the end of your billing period.

Is my data secure? Absolutely! All your data is stored locally on your device. We don’t use cloud sync, which means your sensitive client information never leaves your device. This ensures complete privacy and confidentiality.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device? Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID. Simply sign in with the same Apple ID on your new device, open the app, and your subscription will be automatically restored.

Can I attach documents to cases? Yes! Tap on any case, scroll to the Documents section, and tap “Add Document”. You can categorize documents as Evidence, Contract, Brief, Pleading, Court Order, or Correspondence.

How do I export or backup my data? Currently, all data is stored in your device’s local storage and is included in your iPhone/iPad backups via iCloud or iTunes. If you restore your device from a backup, your Lawyer app data will be restored as well.

Why am I not receiving notifications? Check the following:

Go to Settings → Notifications → Lawyer and ensure notifications are enabled Open the Lawyer app → Settings → check notification status Ensure your hearings/deadlines are set for future dates Check the “Pending Reminders” count in Settings to verify notifications are scheduled
