This policy explains what data Fertility & Cycle AI handles, where it lives, and what choices you have. The app is built privacy-first: it has no server, no analytics, no trackers, and no advertising SDKs.

1. Summary

Your cycle, symptom, hormone, BBT, and assistant data is stored on your device (SwiftData).
Optional sync uses your own iCloud (CloudKit private database). Only your Apple ID can access it.
We do not operate a server, we cannot read your data, and we do not share anything with third parties.
The in-app "Assistant" is a deterministic, on-device keyword classifier — there is no LLM and no network call.
We do not use any third-party AI service (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, Gemini, ChatGPT, Hugging Face, Replicate, Cohere, Mistral). No prompts, messages, health data, or any other personal data are ever transmitted to an AI provider.
HealthKit integration is optional and permission-gated; HealthKit samples are never used for advertising or data mining.
You can export a PDF report and delete everything in one tap.

2. Data we process

The app handles the following categories, all entered by you:

We do not collect: name, email, phone, IP address, advertising identifiers, device fingerprints, location, contacts, photos, or usage analytics.

3. On-device processing & third-party AI services

Predictions (period, fertile window, ovulation), insights, and the in-app Assistant are computed entirely on your device. The Assistant is a rule-based keyword classifier (not a language model) that matches your input against a static list and returns a localized template response. No prompt, message, or data is ever sent to a server.
