This Privacy Policy explains how the Pet Tracker mobile application ("Pet Tracker", "the app", "we", "us") handles your information. Please read it carefully. By using Pet Tracker, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

Pet Tracker is a personal pet-care app that helps you track your pets' health, tasks, medications, vaccinations, expenses, and memories. The app is operated by the developer of Pet Tracker. For any privacy questions, contact us at [email protected].

2. Information You Provide

Pet Tracker stores only the information you choose to enter, including:

• Pet profiles — name, type, breed, date of birth, gender, weight, color, microchip number, and photos.
• Health data — health logs, symptoms, activity, appetite, mood, weight history, medical records, vaccinations, and medications.
• Care data — tasks and reminders, feeding records, walks, sleep records, goals, journal entries, and notes.
• Finance data — expenses, budgets, and receipt images.
• Emergency information — emergency contacts and pet medical details you add.

Pet Tracker does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or phone number to use the app.

3. How Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, synced privately to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. This sync lets you access your data across your own devices and is protected by your Apple account.

We do not operate our own servers and we do not have access to the data stored on your device or in your iCloud account. iCloud data is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. AI Health Insights (Optional)

Pet Tracker offers an optional AI Health Insights feature. This feature is turned off by default and is only active if you explicitly enable it.

When enabled, the app sends a summary of your pet's recent health data — pet name, type, age, health score, activity level, appetite, mood, weight status, and reported symptoms — to our AI provider, Groq, Inc., which generates a natural-language insight.

What is not sent. Pet Tracker never sends your photos, scanned documents, receipts, financial or expense data, emergency contacts, or any device or account identifiers to the AI provider. The request does not include your name, email, or Apple ID.
