Short version

Voice Bird measures how loud you are. It never records, stores or transmits any audio. The game itself has no accounts, no logins and no servers of its own.

The only data that leaves your device comes from the advertising SDK described below, and you can decline that when the system asks.

The microphone

Voice Bird needs microphone access because the bird flies on the loudness of your voice — that is the entire control scheme.

What happens to the audio:

• Each short block of audio is converted into a single number: its loudness in decibels.
• That number moves the bird, and is then discarded.
• No audio is recorded. No audio is saved to disk. No audio is sent anywhere.
• No speech recognition of any kind is performed. The game does not know what you say, only how loud you say it.

Microphone access is only active while you are playing a round. Leaving the game releases it.

Data stored on your device

The following is kept locally, in the app's own storage, and never leaves the device:

• Your best score and number of games played
• Your settings: control mode, sensitivity, haptics on/off

Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no cloud backup of this data by us.
